Over the Melbourne Cup weekend I went to Lorne for four days for a taste of whats to come for summer. The weather was great and I managed to get a swim in every day which was amazing! The surf was fairly small and choppy all weekend...apart from Sunday night where a good swell built at the main beach. Rex and I went down in the cold to photograph it all and we were stunned to find at least 50 surfers out there making the most of the rare surf that was rolling in just in front of the rocks.
