I decided to make this cake from my grandmother's CWA cookbook. This recipe makes a really dense chocolate cake to please any cake lover.
Note: (6 ozs = 180gm)
When beating butter, sugar and eggs use a food processor - it's less messy and a lot quicker.
Transfer to a large bowl and fold in sifted flour.
Make sure your tin is well greased and bake for about 35 minutes at 180.
