Today I think I can say Summer has officially arrived...14 days late, tut tut.

I'm not going to dwell on the sad fact that those 14 days were spent waiting, or the fact that yes, I wore jeans in Summer because today was one of those happy summer days that made up for it.

I was in my garden most of the day staking tomatoes, weeding and painting my bench in varnish under the hot summer sun. Later I ran under the sprinkler as the cool water fell on our new lawn encouraging it's roots to sink deep into the rich earth and after I lay on my bed reading my new frankie magazine getting inspiration from every page.

I love Summer.
